Matt Lobina
Director & Head of Talent
Matt’s a highly regarded & experienced creative industry professional who was born & raised in Sydney, Australia.
After graduating with a degree in Fine Art (and a few months backpacking abroad), he found freelance work in commercial film & television before eventually falling in love with Graphic Design & Art Direction. Over the years, Matt’s career progressed and evolved into multidisciplinary roles in Creative Direction & Digital Producing with further professional experience in UI, UX, Copywriting, Retouching, Finished Art & illustration. All of which he still actively works in on a regular basis.
Eventually Matt was head-hunted and abducted by a team of ambitious Creatives with the goal of disrupting recruitment in the Design & Advertising Industry. He eventually escaped their clutches in 2014 and founded his own specialist Creative Recruitment Agency, The Swoop Inn.
Away from Swoop, Matt can be found running a Dad’s taxi service for his 2 awesome daughters, cheering on his beloved Parramatta Eels or clinging to a rapidly fading dream of rock & roll stardom.
